Why Haley?

We're glad you asked.

When it comes to marketing for staffing and recruiting, no one can match our team (yeah, we're a little biased!)

Way back in 1993...

We were where many of you are today, struggling to stand out from dozens of competitors in our market, fighting margin pressures, and pushing our sales team for better results. We were tired of fighting these battles every day and hearing the same excuses:
Group-23@3x-03

Then we discovered a better process.

A process that combined marketing and sales in a way that nurtured relationships, showed people the real value of our services, and allowed us to get more appointments with less effort. A process that enabled us to double in size in just three years!

That’s when our “a-ha” moment hit: we could share our process with other staffing firms (as long as they didn’t compete with us!). And that’s when we started Haley Marketing.

Since 1996, we have helped thousands of staffing and search firms.

We’ve expanded our services. What started as ghostwriting letters for staffing sales professionals has evolved into more than a dozen services, including staffing website design, digital marketing, branded content, recruitment marketing, and marketing technology. And we’ve grown our team. Haley Marketing started as two people and an idea and has grown to a team of more than 70 with specialists in strategy, web development, SEO, PPC, social media, programmatic advertising, integrated direct marketing, and much, much more. Today, Haley Marketing is the largest marketing firm in the world dedicated to servicing the staffing and recruiting industry. We look forward to helping you stand out, stay top-of-mind, and sell more!

The Story of the Black Bamboo

One of thousands of varieties, the Black Bamboo seed resembles a nut with a very tough skin. After planting, it must be watered and fertilized almost weekly.

To the frustration of the novice farmer, during the first year nothing at all seems to happen.

The second year, the seed is watered and fertilized repeatedly. Yet again nothing appears to be happening. The same process of feeding and watering is repeated through the third and fourth years; still nothing visually happens.

Then, during the fifth year, in the sixth month, the seed opens and a stalk bursts through the ground. Within a period lasting no more than six weeks, the bamboo grows to a majestic height of 20 feet!

The question is when did all this growth really take place—20 feet in six weeks or 20 feet in five years?

No Random Result

We believe the growth was a result of precise events staged over the entire five years. Why? Because at any time during that period, had fertilizing and watering not been maintained, the seed would surely have died.

Top-of-Mind

To get a prospect to think of you first, to get an old customer to think of you in a new way, to get an entire organization to operate more productively or even to change long-standing attitudes and behaviors, the mental changes may require proactive relationship building for a number of years.

And once the effort of the relationship building takes hold, results often measure in double digit percentages. The return on effective relationship development is enormous.
