What do customers want from your copy
One of my colleagues here at Haley Marketing Group recently shared this chart with me.

Pretty revealing.

Across the board, Millennials, Gen-Xers, Boomers…they all just want to know what the heck you are talking about.

Clarity, grammar and not far behind – engagement.  

They want to know what you have to offer – and if they are interested – how they can get it. Give them tight copy, engaging graphics and clear calls to action.

What’s A Staffing Firm To Do?

Clear the clutter out of your home page.  Choose images consistent with your brand; clarify the services you provide and industries you serve. Clearly direct job seekers and employers to subpages where they can get additional details.

Subpages can contain a bit more copy than the homepage, but you still need to keep it concise and skimmable.

Visitors to your website should be able to tell at a glance whether your firm provides temporary light industrial staffing in Tulsa or executive placements nationwide.

If your site is difficult to figure out quickly, they will move onto the next one. Google is pretty generous with supplying candidates and hiring managers with places to call.
