Share this:

Has it been a while since you last took a vacation? Maybe some of the following signs sound familiar!

  1. Last time you took a trip, Julie McCoy was your cruise director. (Or for the younger set, last time you took a trip, your favorite ride was Toad’s Wild Ride.)
  2. Your co-workers and clients make you want to gouge your eyes out (and the feeling is probably mutual).

  4. You can’t remember the last time you had enough time to wind down from work enough to actually enjoy and appreciate the time off.
  5. After reading the title of this post, you asked yourself, “What’s a vacation?”

If any of these sound familiar, it’s time to schedule that vacation!

  • Remind yourself what you’re working for, and learn to enjoy the fruits of your labor. Pay more attention to your [insert important person/thing/activity here], whether it’s your partner, kids, pets, parents, plants, house, schoolwork, social life, hobbies, beliefs or whatever makes up your life outside of work.

And if you don’t have a life outside of work, see the list above for places to start!
