Staffing Agency Still Working from Home? Keep Your Brand and Team Top of Mind

Share this:

Ah, working from home.

A once sought-after “special treat” turned into a year of working from your make-shift home office, by yourself, with your kids running around.

Although colleagues cannot be physically together, that does not mean business or your company’s camaraderie stops.

Use these three digital marketing tools to keep your brand visible and top-of-mind, even when you’re working remotely.

Blogging

A lot has changed in a year, and people have questions. Blogging is your opportunity to get ahead of your candidates and clients.

During a time when communication is essential, take those conversations you’re having and turn them into written content. If one person has a question, the chances are there are tens or hundreds of people with the same thought. This is your opportunity to demonstrate that you’re a thought leader in the industry.

Social Media

If you see a business hasn’t posted in a few years, it’s safe to say you probably assume their business is closed. Don’t let this be you! Especially now, everyone is on social media. This is a great place to demonstrate your employer brand and personality.

Not only can you utilize your blog content to touch on pain points and questions your audience has, but you can also show who and what is happening behind the scenes.

A few ideas you can share are:

  • Employer and Placement Spotlights
Everyone wants to see who they’ll be working with and what they are getting themselves into. So, show it off!
  • Testimonials
It is known that people trust online reviews more than they trust their own friends.
  • Work-from-home Set-Ups (“Guess That Desk!”)
Working remotely might not be the prettiest, but it is interesting to get a peek into the lives of a recruiter’s workday.
  • COVID Precautions – What are you and your clients doing to keep talent safe?
Let your candidates know that you’re doing everything you can to keep them safe… and working!

These are just a few ideas, but I think the best piece of advice is to get creative and keep your platforms informative.

Video Content

Now more than ever, “scroll culture” is a problem many companies and marketers are looking to breakthrough. The first step? Video content.

You may have heard your Digital Marketing Advisor encourage ongoing engagement from your team on your social media posts because it helps boost the organic reach. Well, because video content is fun and already engaging with users, social media algorithms LOVE video! The longer you can retain attention the more likely it is that your video is organically distributed to a wider audience. It’s a win-win for everyone!

Another reason video content is so great, especially when working from home, is it is more personal. Just like when everyone hopped onto Zoom Happy Hours, people want that face-to-face engagement.

Showcasing your face and the way you talk gives humanizes your company and helps create an emotional connection and sense of trust between a brand and its audience.
