Rachel Reed

A writer turned Marketer, Rachel got her start in content marketing while serving at a restaurant. She served a burger to—and started a conversation with—a local agency owner looking for writers, thus beginning her career. She graduated from Ohio University with a degree in Journalism, where she learned how to craft compelling content for large audiences. Throughout her career, she’s worked on projects ranging from writing product descriptions for furniture brands to implementing marketing automation systems for B2B clients. After spending some time working in the staffing industry, she quickly fell in love with the potential automation has for clients and candidates and the impact these campaigns ultimately have on putting more people to work. When she isn’t working, you can find her doting on her cat Jezzy, making a mess experimenting with food in the kitchen, or exploring local craft breweries.

I'm a huge spicy food and hot sauce lover. In the summer, I grow various hot peppers to make my own hot sauce!

That I love scary movies! I'm a huge horror movie fan. The grosser the better.

I've been slowly teaching myself SQL. As a marketing automation person, I think this skill is really important in understanding the ways we can use data to our advantage.
