I’m a Digital Marketing Advisor. DMA for short.

I’m part of Haley Marketing’s digital team, and my job is to help my clients with the implementation of their digital marketing, which can include blogs, email marketing, social media, SEO, PPC, and more.

Since I’ve started with Haley Marketing, most of my clients have been very focused on recruiting, and we’ve had countless conversations about creating the right content and sharing strategies to attract top talent (and reduce the cost of job advertising).

But now, the conversations are starting to change.

I’m having more discussions about sales—and how digital marketing (and a DMA) can help staffing companies to generate more sales leads and close more placements.

So how can I help a company like yours?

Providing great marketing advice for staffing companies.

Okay, this one is fairly straightforward. I’ve had a lot of training (and real-world experience) in digital marketing. And even as someone who is relatively new to the staffing industry, my specialized knowledge can help you get the most out of your marketing initiatives.

Here are just a few examples of how I am currently helping my staffing clients:

  • Content research to find topics that will resonate with staffing buyers.
  • Selection of the right marketing channels.
  • Integration and coordination of marketing across multiple channels.
  • Developing “thumb-stopping” social and email content.
  • Evaluating analytics to see what works…and where improvements are needed.
  • Automating social sharing across your team to help all your salespeople and recruiters build personal brands and strengthen your company’s social marketing.

Sharing best practices.

As a DMA with Haley Marketing, I work exclusively with companies in the staffing industry. This gives me the ability to test ideas and evaluate marketing strategies across multiple clients. I also get to exchange ideas with all the other DMAs on our team (and we have a lot of them!).

Haley Marketing employs a diverse workforce with a wide range of experiences. Our close-knit culture encourages DMAs to support and learn from one another, giving me (and everyone on our team) instant access to a wide range of both industry and marketing knowledge.

As a company, we’ve been through three significant downturns in the industry (2001, 2009, and 2020). That historic experience has taught us great lessons about what the most successful staffing companies do differently to get through tough economic times. Going into 2023, we are as prepared as we possibly can be to help clients deal with whatever the economy throws their way.

When you put this all together, there’s huge benefits I can bring to you thanks to all our team’s shared knowledge of what’s working—and my personal ability to custom tailoring those strategies for your business.

Positioning your staffing agency as a talent expert and trusted business partner.

When I prepare content plans, I strive to help each of my clients position themselves as an authority on specific areas of staffing and talent management that matter most to their businesses. I also help them to demonstrate their service capabilities and accurately convey their brand value.

Whether you are primarily focused on clients, candidates, or an even mix of both, my job is to help you develop the right marketing strategy, the right content strategy, and ensure the successful implementation of your marketing.

Increasing focus on goals to drive measurable results.

In a down (or declining) market, many staffing companies will cut back on marketing to save money. That’s a bad strategy (and we have a lot of proof from past recessions!).

Right now, one of the most valuable things I am helping my clients do is increase their online visibility, drive more traffic to their websites, and help keep their companies top-of-mind.

As a DMA, my job is to work with you to develop an individually customized content plan tailored to your goals and the target audiences you want to reach. With the right content, strong copy, and bold visuals, I can help you increase engagement with social content, capture the attention of more employers, generate more web traffic, and encourage more people to contact your company.

But my role is not just about creating content, it’s also about analyzing data to give you a clear picture of what’s working and where we can make adjustments to drive the best results.

Haley Marketing products and services give our DMAs the tools for success.

At Haley Marketing, we do a lot. As marketing has become more sophisticated—and our clients’ needs become more complex, we’ve added more products and services to support our clients’ sales and recruiting goals.

Here’s an example of what we do:

  • Staffing websites
  • Digital marketing
    • SEO
    • PPC advertising
    • Social media management
    • Reputation management
  • Branded content
    • Custom blog content
    • Email newsletters
    • Print and digital magazines
    • Custom collateral
    • Integrated direct marketing campaigns
  • Recruitment marketing
    • Job advertising management
    • Social recruiting
    • Employment branding
    • Candidate process automation
  • Marketing technology
    • Career portal software
    • Talent showcase software (skill marketing)
    • Social sharing automation (NetSocial)
    • Chatbot
    • Lead tracking software

Phew, that’s a lot.

As a DMA, I work with our Marketing Consultants to help you determine the best marketing mix to meet your unique goals and support or supplement your internal marketing capabilities.

One of the most significant ways I help a lot of my clients is simply by allowing them to take more items off their daily, weekly, and monthly to-do lists. While I don’t get a paycheck from my clients, I consider myself to be part of their teams, allowing them to automate their marketing strategies as much as possible, giving them more time to tackle their individual goals, and helping them to provide a better overall experience for clients and candidates.

Prepare for tough times…before they happen!

Right now, this might be the biggest value I can offer you—the support to plan ahead. As a Haley Marketing DMA, I can offer highly focused knowledge that’s specific to the staffing industry and custom tailored to your business.

I’m here to help you prepare for whatever lies ahead—and pivot your marketing strategies as market conditions change. Let’s start a conversation about how we can help grow your staffing agency.
