Problem: A regional skilled manufacturing / light industrial staffing firm was having issues with placed employees not showing up on their 1stday of the assignment. Their process was to have the recruiter text/call the employee the day before their start date(usually on Sunday afternoons) to confirm that they would be starting the next day. The recruiter had to take time out of their weekend to make these calls, and they also needed to check in through the first week of the assignment.Their existing No Show/No Call rate was 24%.
Solution: We worked with the client to create an On Assignment campaign that triggered multiple touchpoints starting with the Start Date Reminder and included a First Day Check-In, First Paycheck Congrats, First Week Check-In, etc. Our strategy was tosend these touchpoints out via SMS as a better option thanemail.
Impact: We were able to lower No Show / No Callby 32% andsave recruiters 6 hours/week in follow-up time. These changes equated to 42 hours/week saved for the recruiting team, or the equivalent of oneFTE,which ultimately paid for the monthly automation platform cost!
