LloydRichards Personnel Services, Tulsa’s longest-servicing staffing firm (since 1961), came to Haley Marketing under new ownership to enhance their web presence. They had already managed to create a new name for themselves through traditional media in the Tulsa area with their Mr. Opportunity character, but their web presence needed a major overhaul as their previous site seemed to predate the internet!
The first order of business was a new logo for the company. While Mr. Opportunity served as an effective brand character, the company did not have a strong logomark to define them. We designed a strong, effective and recognizable logo for LloydRichards that incorporated Mr. Opportunity breaking the bounds of a rounded rectangle to connote that opportunity involves out of the box thinking.
To create the website, we used the red LloydRichards had used in their earlier collateral and designed the site around that striking color and the new logo. The site features a unique slideshow, a collage of pictures that fade in and out to show different images of the clerical and light industry companies they serve as well as the local flavor of Tulsa to reinforce the ties LloydRichards has long had to the area.
The site also features separate portals for Job Seekers, Industrial and Administrative/Professional, to better serve candidates interested in these industries by differentiating the job search and application processes.
Knowing that a new logo and beautiful website are only part of the equation to bringing users to the site, LloydRichards also worked with Haley to establish a social media presence on Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn, thus increasing connections and reach on those sites. They also began blogging with Haley. Adding fresh content to the site will make them more visible and relevant to job seekers searching for employment opportunities and companies seeking reliable candidates in the Tulsa area.
