Buffalo Business Executive Appointed to American Staffing Association Industry Marketing Subcommittee
Buffalo, NY, April 26, 2016—David Searns, CEO of Haley Marketing Group, was selected to serve on the American Staffing Association (ASA) Industry Marketing Subcommittee. ASA is the national trade association representing the $130-billion U.S. staffing, recruiting, and workforce solutions industry.
The subcommittee advises ASA on how the association can promote a positive image of the staffing industry as a strategic workforce partner to U.S. businesses through industry marketing programs. It serves as a forum for the exchange of ideas among committee members in support of ASA industry marketing goals and regarding particular challenges facing the industry. The subcommittee is made up of a select group of executive-level marketing leaders from staffing companies of all sizes who work together in support of the ASA mission and its strategic initiatives.
David is the CEO and a founder of Haley Marketing, a web development, content and social marketing firm serving more than 1,000 staffing and recruiting agencies on four continents. David literally grew up in the business (his Mom and Dad ran a very successful staffing and executive recruiting firm in upstate New York). He holds a degree in information systems from Clarkson University, an MBA from The Wharton School, and he has more than 20 years of marketing and consulting experience in the staffing industry.
