Continuing its trend of growth and promotion from within, Haley Marketing is pleased to announce the promotion of Amara Khan to Senior Application Developer / Analyst.
After graduating with a degree in Mathematics from the University of Buffalo and subsequently completing an immersive program in full-stack development, Amara joined Haley Marketing in 2020 as an Application Developer / Analyst. She learned quickly, excelled in her role, and proved to be a standout ready to take on more responsibility. Now, as a Senior Application Developer / Analyst, Amara creates, enhances, tests and debugs our world-class software products, while mentoring her peers through pair coding and code review.
Amara loves the challenges of working as part of our dev ops team, and she is eager to broaden her role and continue her upward trajectory within our organization. “Being a developer is challenging and exciting every day; I’m always learning something new, be it a new shortcut in tools or thinking of a more efficient way to solve a programming problem,” said Amara. “I’m excited by how collaborative my role is becoming with new mentorship responsibilities.
“Within our growing team, there are more opportunities to discuss and collaborate on how to improve code, performance, and application design,” continued Amara. “My favorite part about Haley Marketing is the openness and desire to innovate. If there is an option to do something better that is good for the products, the team, and our clients, it is always discussed and often implemented.”
CTO Rick Bush is impressed with Amara’s accomplishments and thrilled she is elevating her role in dev ops. “Amara is an incredible asset to our team,” stated Bush. “Her curiosity, enthusiasm, expertise and mentoring elevate all of us, every day. Amara was instrumental in building and debugging NetSocial as it went from alpha, to beta, to general release. No small feat! We’re excited to see what she achieves next.”
