It is with incredible sadness that I write this post. On January 3, 2012, Haley Marketing’s Art Director, Neil Kowalewski unexpectedly passed away.
Neil joined Haley Marketing in March 2005. He was an incredibly gifted artist. A perfectionist. And very demanding of himself and his peers. He was in so many ways part of the foundation of our firm.
Neil produced amazing work and helped elevate our Creative Team to new heights. He designed VOICE award winning direct mail, email and outdoor advertising for our clients, and he was responsible for the majority of Haley Marketing’s identity redesign in 2008.
Neil had a tremendous knack for seeing people and situations as they really are. The caricatures he drew of our team may be among the best evidence of his talent.
But Neil was so much more than our Art Director. His dry sense of humor made every email exchange more entertaining. His passion for Star Wars, Harry Potter, The Lord of the Rings and all things science fiction, made our office a more fun place to work. And his dedication to his clients, his co-workers, and Haley Marketing Group made our company so much stronger.
Neil, we miss you. We will always miss you.
I hope you are in a better place. And you have finally met Steve Jobs and are working together to design new toys for all of us to discover.
