As we take a weekly look at the case study for 365 Healthcare Staffing, we are breaking down the information into individual social media outlets. Last week, we went in depth on Facebookwhile this week, we are taking a look at the growth and strategies on Twitter while sharing some ideas for improving in 2016.
Twitter
On twitter, we again had to focus on growing the followers for 365 Healthcare Staffing. Our strategies in that area led to an increase of more than 1,000 followers during 2015, getting the content in front of more eyeballs and increasing impressions. That continued in January 2016 with nearly 29 percent growth in the follower count.
One great aspect of twitter is the use of hashtags. We researched some popular hashtags (hcsm, medtech) applicable to 365 Healthcare Staffing to reach twitter users who aren’t followers but are potentially interested in the content and company’s offerings. Whether it was company blogs, job postings (great on twitter!) or other relevant content, including hashtags is almost mandatory.
Where’s It Go From Here?
We always want to continue to increase the following because it’s a targeted audience and posting content is free. One area that we are really going to emphasize is putting more job postings on Twitter. People are always looking for new jobs, they get some of the best click rates of any content. Twitter is a great tool to post jobs, so that’s one way to get traffic back to the awesome website and increase engagement.
