Wood Personnel wanted a custom website that reflected their primary focus: the people they serve. They were determined to achieve this without falling into typical staffing company design and imagery. Their site would, aesthetically and functionally, be a leading design of the 21st century.

These goals were achieved. Wood’s pleasant and calm color palette of blues and tans gives the site a modern look, with plenty of white space on the page. Coupled with larger fonts, short, easily read and clearly defined areas of copy, the layout and color choices for this site make it simpler for users to find the information they seek.

The imagery on the new site, while minimal, is striking and sets the tone for the entire site. Wood is all about “just good people,” and the people in Middle Tennessee that Wood serves feature prominently in the job seeker and employer sections.

The site is designed to appeal to existing and prospective candidates and clients in Middle Tennessee, centered on Nashville and including the Cool Springs area, Gallatin, Lebanon and Murfreesboro, looking for positions in industrial and warehouse, office and administrative, and technical and management.

Job seekers and employers can easily locate the information they need. Layout, navigation, design and aesthetics were all considered in this project. The homepage, job seekers page and employers page feature action bars; customized, clearly demarcated areas that encourage the user to take quick action after being informed of Wood’s services, industries and differentiators.
