Well, hello there!  A true pleasure to meet you.  My name is Diana Kindron, and I am very excited to introduce myself to the “Ask Haley” faithful as the newest member of the Haley Marketing team.

Being “the new person” (we’ve all been there, haven’t we?) carries with it some immense responsibility.  Of course, I have to learn all the ins and outs of my position, and of life at Haley Marketing.  But then there’s this all too intimidating blog thing…bah, I suppose it’s really not all that scary.  I can handle frequent chats about interesting topics…right?

You’ll be hearing from me often on topics like public relations, social media, marketing, and as many fun things as I can cover.  To understand my perspective on those yet-to-be-written blogs, here’s a bit of information about my background.

Since completing my bachelor’s degree in English at SUNY Buffalo State College, I have spent several years in radio advertising and market research.  In 2008, I completed a master’s degree in Public Relations Management, and have spent nearly four years in non-profit and education PR.  Now, I am incredibly excited (did I mention I was excited?) to be at Haley Marketing, where I will serve as Project Coordinator extraordinaire (okay, so the ‘extraordinaire’ isn’t technically part of my job title…but I aim high, to be sure).

You may have noticed that I haven’t mentioned any experience in the staffing industry.  While taking a crash course in staffing each day through my training, I am also devouring texts and articles about the staffing industry at home.  Pretty soon, I’ll be going toe-to-toe with my well-versed, expert colleagues!

Oddly enough, while I am very active on social media sites like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Foursquare, I have yet to write a real, honest-to-goodness blog.  How could this be?!?

Rest assured, I will be putting in my due diligence here at “Ask Haley.”  As I check out the latest news, Stumble with reckless abandon (if you haven’t started Stumbling, I highly suggest the biggest timewaster since YouTube, and an excellent web traffic generator: StumbleUpon), and share my observations on the latest marketing and public relations news, I hope you will join in the conversation!
