Good news: Temporary jobs on the rise

The Employment Situation Report-March 2010 was released by the U.S. Department of Labor on April 2, 2010.

The highlights:

162,000 jobs were created in March
Job growth continued in temporary help services and in health care
Temporary help services added 40,000 jobs in March
Since September 2009, temporary help services employment has risen by 313,000
