The case for sending your email marketing over the weekend
What’s the best day of the week to send email? We are asked this question a lot at Haley—in fact it’s been the topic of numerous blog posts on our Ask Haley blog. And here it is again! I recently read an interesting article by “Get to the Point” (a newsletter for email marketers) which made a case for sending emails on (get this) Sunday to get the best views.
Need convincing? Consider these stats:
- An AOL survey found that 62% of respondents checked their work email over the weekend.
- According to a Pew study, two thirds of Americans do work-related research at home.
Many people use the weekend to not only unwind, but to catch up on their work, including browsing through the week’s “less important” or “read later” emails. So why not try getting your next message out the door over the weekend? In marketing, nothing is an exact science, but a series of tests to see what works the best. If your results could use a little boost, try something new.
