Last week Cards against Humanity issued a call for contributing writers through social media.
“Interesting,” I thought.
Even more interesting — the number of people who tagged me in the social media posts.
Clearly, I had a personal brand whether I knew it or not.
We won’t go into whether or not being known for having a twisted mind and a way with words is the ideal personal brand. However, it was clear that it had taken root.
What is your personal brand?
Do you even know? You should.
It’s important to take control of your personal brand because your brand identity will develop with without you.
Are you a…
- Recruiter capable of filling the most challenging high-level roles?
- Staffing pro with the ability to quickly deploy dependable workers for large projects?
- Communication-focused professional known for staying in close contact with candidates or clients, so they always know where they stand?
How do you want to be seen?
Is your social media presence consistent with the image you wish to project?
